Urgent Care Physician

As a Physician for Urgent Care, you’ll lead the health care team in providing age-appropriate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and procedures. You’ll deliver timely, patient- and family-centered urgent care while following applicable medical practice standards.
• North Region (Vintage, Kingwood, Woodlands)
• Part Time or Full Time
• Shift Based
• Assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients based on presenting needs
• Initiates appropriate treatments and procedures within the scope of medical practice
• Documents patient assessments, diagnoses, treatments, procedures, and education in the medical record
• Refers patients to appropriate specialists as needed
• Records diagnoses and procedure codes accurately and timely to support appropriate charge capture
• Provides verbal and written treatment information in language patients and caregivers can understand
• Serves as a knowledgeable educational resource for patients, families, community members, and health care professionals
• Participates in site meetings and provides input on patient care and operational concerns
• Participates in required meetings, activities, and other assigned responsibilities
• Doctor of Medicine degree required
• Completion of a pediatric residency required
• Physician license meeting applicable credentialing requirements required
• Basic Life Support or Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification from the American Heart Association required
