• POSITION SUMMARY
• Position Summary:
• The Unit Coordinator provides professional nursing care for assigned residents according to professional standards, state regulations, and in keeping with the health center mission. Unit Coordinator will serve as a leader, collaborating with the health care team to create an environment of high quality resident care. Works under direction of Director, LTC Nursing.
• POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum Education
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing/licensed practical nursing program
• Minimum Experience
• Hospital experience within the past 5 years preferred
• Required Registration/License/Certification
• Current Kansas Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for Health Care Provider or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully obtained within the first 90 days of employment
