Ultrasound Tech II - Per Diem; Varied
Position Summary: Under the direction of the Radiologist, the Technologist will perform a variety of Ultrasound procedures. The technologist must demonstrate knowledge of both theoretical and practical applications of Ultrasound. The technologist must be able to work independently and produce a high quality study. The technologist must be able to communicate effectively with the radiologist and provide additional information pertinent to the study. This position is required to take call on a rotational base. They are also required to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Education:
• Must be a graduate of an approved ultrasound program, as well as, having additional Ultrasound Training that will qualify the employee to sit for the RDMS exam

Experience:
• One year of acute care experience in Ultrasound required; must meet the requirements of US 1.

Licenses and/or Certifications:
• Healthcare Provider CPR/BLS course certified by the American Heart Association.
• RVT, Abdominal and OB registries required.
