Summary:
Provides patient services using diagnostic equipment for the use and interpretation of ultrasound procedures under the supervision of a radiologist. Assists the radiologist in gathering sonographic data necessary to reach diagnostic decisions.
Education:
Essential:
• Graduate from an accredited Ultrasonographer program

Education specialization:
Essential:
• Ultrasound Technology

Experience:
Essential:
• One year related experience must have breast ultrasound experience.

Credentials:
Essential:
• American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Abdomen Ultrasound - Certified
• Breast Ultrasound - Certified
• Vascular Ultrasound - Certified
• Basic Life Support - American Red Cross or American Heart Association
