Job description

Telemetry Technician in our Neurology Unit at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA. This position is Per-Diem and will work 12-hour Night shifts.
Monitors electrocardiography according to established standards and practices. Attends nursing station and performs clerical and reception duties. Requisitions supplies, equipment, and services as directed.

Required Qualifications:
• Coursework/Training - Completion of basic dysrhythmias course.
• Coursework/Training - MOAB I/II within 30 to 150 days of hire for employees in Emergency Dept. and PARC.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Coursework/Training - Completion of course for ward secretaries and medical terminology.
• Coursework/Training - Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training.
