Responsibilities
• Performs moves, adds, and changes (MAC) for IP, digital, and analog telephone systems.
• Configure and update voicemail boxes, call routing, and user features across supported platforms.
• Conduct basic programming and system adjustments within PBX environments.
• Provide end user training on supported telecom platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues and requests, ensuring timely and accurate resolution and documentation.
• Assist with system upgrades, equipment installations, and routine maintenance tasks.
• Document all work performed, including configuration changes, ticket updates, and customer interactions. Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and service providers to support telecom infrastructure and service continuity.
• Maintain compliance with organizational standards, security policies, and telecom best practices.
• Deliver high-quality customer service and support to end users in office and field environments.
• Must be able to support after hours telecom issues as part of an on call rotation.
• Must be able to travel between USA Health facilities.
• Completes all mandatory department, educational and hospital requirements
• Adheres to current Infection Control and Safety Standards
• Regular and prompt attendance
• Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required
• Related duties as assigned
Additional Information
Employees must be in a regular position, working 20 hours or more per week (.50 FTE or greater) to qualify for benefits.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. Required OR
• Associate's Degree in computer science, information systems or a related field and 3 years of experience in network, telecommunications, or IT field work. Required
• Directly related experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required education. Required
• Experience with Mitel, Avaya, Kloud7, ASCOM, or Voalte. Preferred
• Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.
