Job description
Responsibilities
Under general direction, position is responsible for performing clinical testing of clients in accordance with departmental standards to ensure that quality results are obtained.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of Respiratory Care
Working knowledge of polysomnography
Licensure, Registration, Certification:
BLS
Licensed by the Alabama State Board of Respiratory Therapy
One of the following:
• Certified by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
One of the following:
• American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM)
• National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) – Sleep Disorders Specialty (SDS)
• National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Sleep Disorders Specialty (SDS)
• Board of Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT)
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in allied health
Licensure, Registration, Certification:
ACLS
Minimum Qualifications:
