What You’ll Do
Our Teachers oversee all aspects of their facility’s academic program, with support from the Education Supervisor/Manager and Executive Director. Teachers provide instruction to multiple students working at a variety of paces on various subjects. Key responsibilities include:
• Developing an individualized academic plan for each student, based on relevant academic information and in coordination with families and school districts
• Providing individual instruction and academic support to students through virtual and school-facilitated curriculum
• Monitoring student progress, sending weekly email updates to parents, and completing weekly charting in electronic documentation system
• Providing support for and participating in IEP/504 meetings
• Attending weekly Treatment Team meetings, parent meetings, clinical calls, and internal department meetings and trainings.
• Communicating any behavioral, academic, or attendance concerns to clinical and direct care staff to address concerns
• For young adult programs, overseeing the Learning Lab, scheduling hours, and providing one-to-one support

What Makes You a Great Fit
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university (required)
• Minimum of two (2) years of teaching experience, preferably with middle or high school students (required)
• A strong connector who can build rapport and communicate clearly and effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and school staff
• Detail oriented and organized, with a creative teaching approach that can be adapted to students with a wide range of learning styles
• Inspired to help young people succeed by supporting their academic engagement and skills while they receive the treatment they need

Compensation Range: $27.98 to $39.18 per hour based on education and experience.
