Overview

Flexible hours with weekend call required.
Must have thorough knowledge of surgical instruments and sterilization process.
Qualifications
Education / Licensure / Certification:
Previous Sterile Processing experience with supply management experience. Knowledge of AAMI Guidelines preferred. Certifications for Central Supply Processing Technician or Central Service Technician required or able to obtain within one year- CBSPD or CRCST. Management experience is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Working knowledge of instrumentation and supply management. Proficient in planning, organizing and time management. Detail oriented. Able to tolerate emotional and mental stress. Able to maintain good rapport with and collaborate with all departments. Has good computer skills; previous experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Must have passed or complete within two years the CHL (Certified Healthcare Leader for sterile processing management) certification exam.
