General Surgery Department, Providence Holy Family Hospital, Spokane, WA

Shift Details: Full-time, Day shift, 40 hours a week
The Surgical Technologist is an active member of the Operating Room Team in providing quality surgical patient care, assisting in the maintenance of safe and aseptic surgical environment and observing and teaching other surgical team members in proper surgical technique. Reports to department manager or assistant nurse manager.

Required Qualifications:
• Coursework/Training: Completion of an accredited surgical technologist program or
• Coursework/Training: Completion of a training program in a branch of the armed forces or in the Public Health Service Commissioned Corp or work experience even if education is from a non-accredited surgical technologist program.
• Upon hire: Washington Surgical Technologist Registration
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:
• 1 year of Current experience as a surgical technologist.
• 2 years of OR surgical technologist experience.
