Working under the guidance of our Nurse Manager, you won't just assist—you will actively plan, prepare, and execute the logistical blueprint for a wide variety of surgical operations.

What You’ll Do
• Own the Prep & Plan: Strategize and assemble specialized equipment, custom instrumentation, and tools tailored to each unique surgical case.
• Keep Surgeons One Step Ahead: Anticipate the intraoperative needs of our surgeons with seamless transitions and sharp focus.
• Guard the Sterile Field: Champion patient safety by flawlessly maintaining a sterile environment and rigorously monitoring sterilizers and sterilization processes.
• Operate Advanced Technology: Confidently navigate a diverse range of equipment, from everyday surgical tools to complex, specialized machinery.
• Support the Department: Step up as a true team player, participating actively during operations and assisting with critical support work to keep our department running smoothly.

Hourly Pay Rate: $30.00
Qualifications
Education:
• Requires a high school diploma or GED
• Must have graduated from a vocational program for Surgical Technicians or Technologist. Three (3) years of on-the-job training experience may be accepted in lieu of completion of a vocational program.

Experience:
• Prefer three to five (3-5) years of experience with diverse surgical specialties.

Certification/Licensure:
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification is required.
• Requires a BLS card obtained through an approved American Heart Association (AHA) training center within 3 months.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
• Requires specialized knowledge and skills of OR practices.
• Utilizes effective communication and interpersonal skills to enhance and encourage collaborative staff and community relationships.
• Must be able to respond quickly and must be familiar with operating procedures in order to have instruments ready for surgeons.
