**Job Title:** Surgical Support Technician PRN
**Job Type:** PRN (As Needed)
**Job Description:**
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Surgical Support Technician to join our team on a PRN basis. The Surgical Support Technician will provide essential assistance in the operating room, ensuring that surgical procedures run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of surgical instruments, sterile techniques, and patient care protocols.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Prepare and maintain the operating room environment before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons and surgical staff by passing instruments and supplies as needed
• Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and functioning
• Monitor and restock surgical supplies to maintain readiness
• Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures
• Support patient positioning and transport as required
• Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to provide high-quality patient care
**Qualifications:**
• Previous experience as a Surgical Support Technician or similar role preferred
• Knowledge of surgical instruments, sterile techniques, and operating room protocols
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Flexibility to work on an as-needed (PRN) basis
