Job Description:
10 hour shifts/ 6:30 AM to 5PM
The Charge Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, organizing and supervising the unit activities for a specified shift.
• Assesses unit census, patient status, and staffing numbers.
• Develops assignment of licensed/non-licensed that ensures adequate deliver of care
• Manages patient flow to include admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Addresses patient and staff concerns during shift
• Duties as assigned by Director
Requirements
• Three to five years of job-related experience
• Current RN licensure by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing
