Are you looking for an opportunity to improve your critical thinking and fundamental skills? Come join us at MedStar Washington Hospital Center for our Student Nurse Assistant program!
This program will allow you to work a flexible schedule while in school and gain hands on experience at the bedside.
The Winter 2027 cohort will start on January 25, 2027 and will have a mandatory skills day on either Saturday, January 30, 2027 or Sunday, January 31, 2027 (must attend one of these dates).
Qualifications for position:
Education:
-Active enrollment as a nursing student in an accredited nursing program; successful completion of the Fundamentals of Nursing course (or the equivalent) no later than January 1, 2027.
Experience:
-Prior work experience not required
Certifications
• BLS - Basic Life Support (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) Required
• No Board of Nursing certification required for practice sites in the District of Columbia
This position has a hiring range of
USD $19.16 - USD $19.16 /Hr.
