And above all, it means exceptional care, simply delivered — and we couldn’t do it without you.Make a differenceThe Sr Pharmacy Technician will perform the duties of a pharmacy technician, and advanced technician work, in compliance with standard procedures, Joint Commission, State Department of Health, and other regulatory standards. A key responsibility for this data driven role includes accurate and timely data entry for medication orders, patient profiles, and inventory management. In addition, you will be managing inbound and outbound calls to support pharmacy operations. Your exceptional skillsAccurately and efficiently select medications for dispensingCompound sterile products using aseptic techniquesDeliver medications, and supplies to the proper location in a timely fashionMaintain contemporary professional knowledge baseParticipate in the evaluation, development, and implementation of process improvementPerform basic compounding and calculationsCommunicate with patients, their families, and hospital staff in a positive and professional mannerAdvanced tasks include problem solving of advanced complexity, technical specialist and trainer on daily tasks and cases.Your exceptional qualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent is required2 - 4 years previous pharmaceutical experience is required2 -3 years of Retail pharmacy experience preferredIndiana Pharmacy Technician License requiredNational Certification (PTCB or NHA) required
