Pediatric Feeding Speech-Language Pathologist
Outpatient Rehabilitation | Clayton, NC
Help Children Thrive Through Expert Feeding and Swallowing Care
WakeMed Outpatient Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pediatric Feeding Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. In this role, you will provide specialized evaluation and treatment services for children with feeding, swallowing, speech, and language challenges. You will work closely with patients, families, and an interdisciplinary team to help children achieve meaningful progress and improve their quality of life.
What You'll Do
• Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with feeding, swallowing (dysphagia), speech, and language disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child's unique needs and goals.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
• Educate and collaborate with families to support carryover of skills at home.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Communicate treatment outcomes and recommendations with families, healthcare providers, and team members.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and team collaboration.
• Provide age-appropriate, family-centered care that supports the developmental needs of pediatric patients.
• Assist with coverage across the WakeMed Rehabilitation continuum as needed.

Licensed Speech and Language Pathologist And Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Required
Education
Master's Degree Speech Language Pathology Required
Experience
2 Years Clinical - Speech/Language Pathology Preferred. Pediatric feeding experience preferred.
