JOB SUMMARY
The Clinical Access Coordinator – Hybrid Role is responsible for optimizing specialty clinic operations through the integration of scheduling coordination, clinical support, and patient triage functions. This role proactively manages provider schedules to maximize patient access, throughput, and surgical conversion while minimizing no-shows and schedule gaps. Utilizing clinical knowledge and critical thinking, the position evaluates referrals, aligns patients with appropriate care, and facilitates timely scheduling. The role also supports direct patient care by assisting with clinical tasks, implementing provider orders, and ensuring accurate documentation. Additionally, the position triages patient concerns, communicates care plans, and serves as a liaison between patients, providers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, efficient, and high-quality care delivery. All responsibilities are performed in accordance with applicable licensure, scope of practice, and organizational protocols.
JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS
Education:
• High School diploma or GED- required

Experience:
• One (1) year working in an ambulatory space with previous experience in patient care, registration, scheduling, prior authorization, coding, or medical terminology- required
• Complex scheduling and understanding diagnosis and flow of a clinic- preferred
