Your future role at a glance
• Location: Milwaukee, WI
• Facility: St. Joseph Hospital
• Department: Maternal Fetal Medicine
• Schedule: Full-time | Day Shift

How you’ll make an impact in this role
• Perform routine, comprehensive anatomy examinations, biophysical profiles, growth assessments, transvaginal cervical length evaluations, and fetal echocardiography.
• Screen for first-trimester chromosomal and structural anomalies, exercising judgment to adhere to safety standards during high-risk scans.
• Assist MFM physicians with ultrasound guidance during invasive procedures—including amniocentesis, CVS biopsies, and fetal blood transfusions—while educating patients on procedures.
• Prepare examination reports and communicate clinical data and ultrasound findings directly to supervising Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians.

What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Required Credential(s):
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Medical Sonographer specializing in Obstetrics & Gynecology credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Credentialed in Fetal Echocardiography from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) within 24 months of hire date or job transfer date.

Education:
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences:
• 36 hours a week | Between M-F | No weekends or holidays
• Prior experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine highly prioritized
