Wage Transparency
The pay range for this position is $86,028.80 (entry-level qualifications) - $133,286.40 (highly experienced).The specific rate will depend upon the successful candidate’s specific qualifications and prior experience.
Job Summary
As a Senior Product Analytics Developer within the Customer Analytics team, you will play a critical role in defining how customer experiences are measured, understood, and improved across Baylor Scott & White Health's digital and customer-facing products.
Serving as a subject matter expert in product analytics, you will partner with product managers, engineers, designers, marketers, and business stakeholders to develop scalable analytics solutions that provide actionable insights into customer behavior, product performance, and customer and business outcomes. You will help establish measurement strategies, success metrics, and analytical frameworks that inform product strategy, prioritize investments, and evaluate the impact of customer experience initiatives.
In this role, you will design and maintain analytics data products, metrics, dashboards, and natural language query (NLQ) capabilities that enable teams to understand engagement, adoption, retention, conversion, and service utilization across digital experiences. You will translate complex business questions into analytical solutions, uncover opportunities for product improvement, and deliver insights that drive both customer value and organizational performance.
You will leverage customer journey analysis, product measurement expertise, and modern analytics practices to identify trends, quantify opportunities, and support data-informed decision making across the product lifecycle. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of measurement standards, metric governance practices, and data quality processes that ensure trusted and consistent analytics across customer experiences.

The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in analytics, digital customer behavior, product measurement, and healthcare, with a demonstrated ability to transform complex data into meaningful insights that influence product strategy, customer experience improvements, and organizational outcomes.
Essential Functions of the Role
• Serve as the steward of product measurement, ensuring customer-facing products are designed with clear success criteria, measurable outcomes, and trusted analytics from concept through optimization.
• Influence product strategy by identifying opportunities, quantifying impact, and ensuring customer, operational, and business outcomes are measurable throughout the product lifecycle.
• Partner with product managers, engineers, designers, marketers, operational leaders, and business stakeholders to define success metrics, measurement frameworks, and analytics strategies for customer-facing products and services.
• Design, develop, and maintain analytics data products, metrics, dashboards, semantic models, and natural language query (NLQ) capabilities that enable data-informed decision making.
• Establish scalable measurement approaches that evaluate product performance, customer behavior, customer journey effectiveness, and business outcomes across digital experiences.
• Identify, analyze, and quantify critical moments within the customer journey that influence engagement, adoption, retention, satisfaction, and service utilization.
• Translate complex business and product questions into actionable analytical solutions that support strategic prioritization and product investment decisions.
• Develop and maintain trusted metric definitions, business logic, and measurement standards to ensure consistency across analytics products and platforms.
• Drive data quality initiatives by identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities to improve measurement accuracy and reliability.
• Deliver actionable insights and recommendations that identify opportunities for product optimization, customer experience improvements, and organizational performance gains.
• Communicate analytical findings, business impact, and strategic recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
• Serve as the organization's product analytics subject matter expert and trusted advisor, advancing product measurement practices and helping stakeholders leverage data to improve customer and business outcomes.
• Enable self-service analytics adoption through intuitive analytics products, documentation, training, and stakeholder engagement.
• Partner with data engineering and technology teams to define data requirements and influence the evolution of analytics platforms, data models, and measurement capabilities.
• Apply modern analytics techniques and best practices to improve customer understanding, product performance measurement, experimentation, and decision support.
• Proactively identify risks, issues, dependencies, and opportunities, working collaboratively with stakeholders to develop effective solutions.
• Produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment while effectively managing priorities, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
• Continuously expand expertise in healthcare analytics, product analytics, customer journey measurement, data governance, and emerging analytics technologies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Success Factors
• Acts as a technical and strategic leader in product analytics, establishing measurement approaches that connect customer behavior, product performance, and business outcomes.
• Demonstrated experience in product analytics, customer analytics, digital analytics, business intelligence, or data product development.
• Strong understanding of product measurement, customer journey analytics, behavioral analytics, KPI development, and outcome-based performance measurement.
• Experience developing analytics data products, semantic models, dashboards, reporting solutions, and self-service analytics capabilities.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business and product questions into structured analytical approaches and actionable recommendations.
• Demonstrated success partnering with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, marketing, operations, and business leadership.
• Experience using data to influence product strategy, prioritize opportunities, and measure business impact.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and systems-thinking capabilities with attention to detail and data quality.
• Knowledge of metric governance, data governance, measurement frameworks, analytics standards, and best practices.
• Experience communicating complex analytical concepts and findings to audiences ranging from technical teams to executive leadership.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on development and analytical execution.
• Experience working within Agile product development environments and collaborating across multiple initiatives.
• Advanced proficiency with modern analytics, reporting, visualization, data modeling, and data exploration tools.
• Knowledge of healthcare, digital consumer experiences, patient engagement, healthcare operations, or customer experience measurement preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities and competing business needs.
