Looking for a flexible, high-paying nursing opportunity? The UF Health Market Resource Pool (MRP) offers experienced CSTs the chance to work a seasonal 13-week assignment while supporting patient care across the Central Florida.
Compensation
• $41/Hr flat rate
• Overtime paid in accordance with FLSA based on a 40-hour work week

Position Details
• 13-week seasonal contract assignment
• Commitment of three (3) 12-hour shifts per week
• Schedule determined in partnership with the unit director
• Float assignments based on competency and skill level to locations within:
• UF Health Leesburg Hospital OR
• UF Health The Villages Hospital (Spanish Plaines Campus)

Additional Information
• Shifts are not guaranteed; however, cancellations are unlikely.
• Former UF Health Central Florida employees must be separated from employment for at least 6 months to be eligible for the Market Resource Pool.

Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Director/Manager/ Charge Nurse/ and RN’s, the Surgical Technologist is responsible for providing an aseptic environment within the perioperative arena. Surgical conscience is of the utmost importance. Must be well versed in the basics of routine surgical and diagnostic cases.
Qualifications
Education:
• Post High School Special Training (CST)

Licensure/Certification/Registration
• Surgical Technology Certification required
• BLS

Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• 2 years experience as a CST
