Responsibilities
Performs scheduling functions as designated by practice. Schedules office visits. Requires general knowledge of specialty processes, exam preparations, exam sequencing and other related functions.
Qualifications
1. Demonstrated knowledge of Medical terminology2. One year previous medical related clerical experience 3. Demonstrated organizational and communication customer service skills4. Demonstrated knowledge and skill in utilization of computer application 5. Demonstrated problem solving skills6. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with individuals in all levels of responsibility.7. Ability to work independently. Preferred: 1. Previous experience in hospital or medical office scheduling environment.2. Demonstrated knowledge and skill in the use of a computerized scheduling system3. One year secretarial experience at a healthcare organization.
Work Hours:
8:30am-5:00pm
