Day Shift - 7.5 Hours (United States of America)
• Patient Assessment : Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their mental health status and diagnose psychiatric conditions.
• Treatment Planning : Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that may include psychotherapy, medication management, and referrals to other healthcare professionals.
• Medication Management : Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications, ensuring effective treatment while managing side effects and interactions.
• Therapeutic Communication : Utilize strong communication skills to build therapeutic relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Education and Advocacy : Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies, while advocating for their needs within the healthcare system.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards in mental health care.

Certification/Licensure:
• NYS Professional Registered Nurse license required.
• NYS Nurse Practitioner Certification required.

Education requirements:
• MSN required at a minimum.

Computer/Equipment skills:
• Knowledge of electronic Medical Records Systems required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.

Shift: - Days
Salary Range: $150,000 - $165,000
