Job Details
Responsibilities:
• Understanding of pulmonary function laboratory operations.
• Demonstrates proficiency in patient assessment, clinical aerosol medication delivery and emergency management procedures related to the performance of diagnostic pulmonary function testing.
• Calibration, operation and performance of diagnostic pulmonary function testing equipment.
• Basic computer skills, Epic EMR for documentation and scanning reports.
• Knowledge of accepted standards, policies, procedures, staff responsibilities and instrumentation related to provision of diagnostic pulmonary function testing.
• Performs and documents 6-minute walk tests.
• Patient/ Family Education as related to PFT testing, medication delivery systems, devices and Disease state management.

*Office practices in accordance with CDC guidelines for infection control and maintenance.
Requirements:
• Associate of Applied Science in Respiratory Therapy from a Respiratory Therapy education program accredited by CoARC required.
• New York State Respiratory Therapy Technician or Respiratory Therapist license required.
• Current BLS through the American Heart Association.
• Basic computer skills.
• 3+ years of experience preferred.

Salary Range
USD $47.02 - USD $63.59 /Hr.
CRT salary range is $47.02- $54.05/ hour
RRT salary range is $55.32- $63.59/ hour
This range serves as a good-faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and position location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
