Respiratory Therapist RRT - Lincoln Medical Center - 0.6 FTE

Overview
This position represents patient care directed toward critical care areas, step down areas, general care areas.
Qualifications
Education required: High School Diploma/GED. Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Care
License, certification and/or registration: Tennessee state licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. Must be registered or registry eligible by the National Board for Respiratory Care. Certification of BLS is required for hiring process. Certification of BLS is required for hiring process
Experience: Clinical experience obtained while attending Respiratory program and will be able to function in critical settings including initiation, and support of, mechanical ventilation.Additional experience relating to intubation and critical care transport competencies are preferred.
Additional skills/abilities:
• Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly
• Must have the ability to perform and recommend procedures in all areas of bronchial hygiene, oxygen therapy, respiratory diagnostic procedures, and all levels of mechanical ventilation
