Administers and performs all forms, routine, non- critical, critical and emergency Pulmonary Medicine care with in the scope and function of Pulmonary Medicine in all areas of the hospital.

QUALIFICATIONS :
Required:
• Graduate of an American Medical Association approved Respiratory Therapy Program.
• Regestered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
• Current Alabama License.
• Must be willing to be " on call" as required.
• Must have BCLS within 6 months of employment date.
• Must have ACLS within 6 months of employment date.
• It is required that you have a personal phone number or beeper that you can be reached at 24 hours a day.

Preferred:
1. Previous Critical care experience.
LANGUAGE/ COMMUNICATION SKILLS :
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal forms. Ability to communicate effectively in an emergency situation.
SKILLS :
Annual completion of competency requirements Basic typing and computer skills. Experience in operating personal computers in a Windows environment (Preferred). Sufficient experience as a Respiratory Therapist to be qualified to work in a setting without assistance.
