Job description
We are hiring for Respiratory Care Practitioner position at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK!
• Position is full-time, 1.0 FTE, 12-hr Night shifts, 40 hours per week.
• Position is full-time, 1.0 FTE, 12-hr Variable shifts, 40 hours per week.
$10,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
Relocation Assistance available for eligible hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

The Respiratory Therapist provides services to patients in the NICU/PICU as prescribed by Physicians/NNPs in conjunction with established policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines. She/He is responsible for the assessing the patient's respiratory status and recommending appropriate therapies. She/He implements therapies and evaluates patient response to therapeutic interventions. The Respiratory Therapist accepts and promotes professional development as an integral part of practice. She/He will assess, analyze, customize, coordinate and communicate the patient's plan of care and actively collaborate with other members of the health care team.

Required Qualifications:
• National Registered Respiratory Therapist - National Board for Respiratory Care upon hire or,
• National Certified Respiratory Therapist - National Board for Respiratory Care upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• 5 years - Experience in pediatrics respiratory therapy.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care.
