Respiratory Care Practitioner

Job description

Plans, prepares, and delivers a broad range of respiratory care procedures and diagnostic studies. Documents all respiratory care on appropriate records. Inspects, tests, maintains and operates respiratory care equipment. Completes patient billing.

Required Qualifications:
• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care Program from an AMA approved school or equivalent education/experience -OR- Bachelor's Degree from a Respiratory Care Program from an AMA approved school in lieu of an Associate's Degree and 1 year of experience
• Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
• National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
• 1 year of experience (may include clinical portion of training program)

Preferred Qualifications:
• 1 year of experience in adult and/or pediatric setting
