Job Summary
Under general supervision, performs a wide variety of professional level of nursing duties for patients served in the clinical areas noted below.
Qualifications
Education
• Required
• Completion of an accredited program of nursing
• Associate's degree in nursing
• Preferred
• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• Master's degree in nursing

Experience:
• Preferred
• Two (2) or more years of experience in nursing

Certification/Licensure:
• 5North/6North
• Required
• Registered Nurse (RN), with Authorization to Practice in the State of Texas
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Required within thirty (30) days of start date
• SAFE Level 3 Certification
• Required within one (1) year of start date
• Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Administration Certification
• (Charge Nurses Only): Required within two (2) years of charge nurse start date
• ONS – Chemo applies to 5North only
• Preferred
• Relevant national certification
