Job Description:
The Registered Nurse develops, implements, and reviews health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations. Conducts regular safety inspections of indoor and outdoor play areas to identify and mitigate hazards. Monitors the health status of children and provides necessary interventions. Assesses potentially ill children and determines exclusion criteria. Maintains accurate and current medical and allergy information for all children. Supports children with individualized health care plans and ensures safe delegation of care. Reviews and documents incidents, assists with critical incident reporting, and advises on policy changes. Acts as a liaison between the program and relevant health and development organizations. Other duties as assigned. Administers medication and performs necessary medical procedures for children with health needs. Ensures appropriate medical supplies are available and accessible. Manages communicable disease control, including monitoring, documentation, and outbreak management. Provides training and education to staff on health and safety practices, including emergency procedures.

Pay Range:
$32.83 - $61.05
