Join the Emergency Department team at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center , where you'll care for patients across the full spectrum of emergency medicine in one of the region's busiest and most advanced emergency departments.
As a Level II Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, Designated Chest Pain Center, and Certified Geriatric Emergency Department , our team provides expert care to a diverse, high-acuity patient population while fostering a culture built on teamwork, support, and professional development.

Our 65-bed Emergency Department is dedicated to delivering remarkable patient experiences while supporting nurse growth and success. We maintain staffing ratios designed to promote safe, high-quality patient care:
• 2:1 for trauma and critical care patients
• 3:1 for active emergency patients
• 4:1 for ED hold patients
Whether you're managing life-threatening emergencies, stabilizing patients for admission, or preparing patients for discharge, you'll be supported by experienced colleagues who value communication, collaboration, and mentorship.

What We're Looking For
• Education: - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. - 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. - If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
• Experience: One year of acute nursing experience required.
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: - Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. - Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association required.
