Job Description:
Minimum Pay: $35 / hour
Work Schedule: Days, M - F, 36-40 hours. Call one week per month.

The Registered Nurse Diagnostic Imaging is responsible for performing the duties of a Registered Nurse in the Imaging Department, with specialized training in radiological and vascular interventional procedures and techniques, including PICC line placement. This position meets hospital standards of care using the nursing process and skills of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for geriatrics, adults, adolescents, and pediatric patient populations. This role properly documents patient care and assists other department staff in providing basic patient care in Imaging. In addition, this position communicates with radiologists, vascular surgeons, other physicians, department staff, nursing staff, patients, and their families to ensure high-quality patient care.
The Registered Nurse Diagnostic Imaging ensures proper documentation of patient care and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Participates in ongoing process improvement and patient experience processes. Collaborates with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care. Maintains a clean and safe environment for patients and staff. Monitors and reports patient conditions and responses to treatments. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Assists interventional radiologists, general radiologists, vascular surgeons, and other physicians in the Imaging Department. Performs PICC and midline placement using ultrasound technology. Prepares and assesses patients scheduled for department procedures. Administers moderate sedation to imaging patients. Provides post-procedural education for all imaging patients.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Vascular Interventional knowledge and skills Required
• Proficiency in acute-care nursing Required

Education:
• Associate's of Nursing Required
• Bachelor's of Nursing Preferred

Work Experience:
• 2+ years critical care experience Preferred
• 1+ years critical care experience Required
• 1+ years - must have experience in hemodynamic monitoring Required

Licenses and Certifications:
• Registered Nurse License (RN) Required
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS) Required

$30.70 - $50.42
