Registered Nurse (RN) - Ambulatory Care Unit (ACU)

Job description

Coordinates and performs effective patient care utilizing the nursing process and accepted standards of care.
SPECIFICATIONS (Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Licensure, Certification, Registration):
• Graduate of an approved school of nursing
• Current licensure as registered nurse in Missouri or registry eligible (Graduate nurse must obtain licensure within 3 months of graduation)
• Maintains basic life support validation
• Successful implementation of nursing knowledge/process
• Demonstrates skill in area of specialty
• ACLS required or obtained within six (6) months
• Depending on department demand for chemotherapy infusions, certification may be required to be obtained within 6 months
