Facility: Multiple Ascension acute care facilities based on need
Department: Ascension Premier Staffing - PACU
Schedule: Day shifts available | 36 hours per week
Gross Rate up to $2,036 per week

How you’ll make an impact in this role
• Expert management of post-surgical airways and emergence from general or regional anesthesia.
• Rapid identification and treatment of post-op complications, including hemodynamic instability.
• Precise titration of analgesics and anti-emetics based on objective Aldrete scores.
• Execute high-fidelity patient hand-offs and discharge coordination for safe recovery.

What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Required Credential(s):
• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• One or more of the following:
• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Preferred Credential(s):
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
• 1+ year of acute care experience
• 2+ years of recent PACU experience
• Applicable license and/or certification per contract requirements required
