Schedule: 3 x 12 hr. shifts per week on the Night Shift (7p - 7a) + rotating weekends

Our 8-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) offers a unique blended critical care experience, providing care across ICU, stepdown, and telemetry levels of care. Nurses work closely with the intensivist and gain valuable experience in patient assessment, stabilization, and clinical decision-making while caring for a diverse patient population. As a close-knit community hospital, every team member's contributions are recognized and valued. How you’ll contribute
A Registered Nurse who excels in this role:
• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient

What we're looking for
Applicants should have a current North Carolina state or compact state RN license. Additional requirements include:
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire
• ACLS is required within 90 days of hire
• Associate's degree in nursing is required (Bachelor's degree is preferred)
• 1-2 years of recent RN experience in the ICU is required.
