Be part of something new and impactful at Deaconess Health System! At our Satellite Emergency Department location at 5001 Healthy Way in Evansville, you’ll deliver fast, high-quality care in a setting designed to treat everything from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies—all in one place.
As a Registered Nurse, you’ll use strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and hands-on skills to assess, coordinate, and deliver patient care in a dynamic emergency setting. You’ll supervise care delivery, collaborate with providers, and ensure patients and families receive clear education and support throughout their visit.
This is a fast-paced, high-acuity environment where no two days are the same, and your ability to think quickly and act confidently directly impacts patient outcomes.
What You’ll Do
• Provide direct nursing care to emergency and urgent care patients
• Assess patient conditions and prioritize care needs in a fast-paced setting
• Coordinate and supervise patient care delivery across the team
• Support physicians and providers during evaluations and treatments
• Educate patients and families on care plans, conditions, and discharge instructions
• Apply strong clinical judgment in both low- and high-acuity situations
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient care

Required Qualifications
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or compact state
• Minimum of 2 years Emergency Department (ED) experience

Lynch Road Campus, Part-Time, 24 hours/week Evening shift 11:00a - 11:30p. 2 out of 6 weekends
