• Facility: Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin
• Department: Cath Lab
• Schedule: Days | Full-time

How you’ll make an impact in this role
• Delivers specialized perioperative care during high-complexity, critical cardiology procedures, including primary PCI, Impella/IABP support, and emergency structural heart interventions.
• Monitors real-time hemodynamics, cardiac rhythms, and arterial lines while managing conscious sedation and administering emergency vasoactive drips.
• Prepares and operates advanced endovascular and circulatory support equipment, maintaining sterile fields and directly assisting interventional cardiologists during high-risk cases.
• Manages immediate post-procedure recovery, performing specialized vascular access site care, sheath removals, and rapid intervention for bleeding or ischemic complications.

What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
