Your future role at a glance
Location: Kyle, TX
Facility: Seton Hays
Department: A ssociate and Occupational Health
Schedule: Full Time, Monday- Friday, Days
How you’ll make an impact in this role
• Provides treatment for job related injuries and illnesses.
• Conducts pre-employment health screenings and immunization clinics.
• Ensures compliance with applicable workplace safety laws and regulations. May also conduct safety training programs.
• Provides employee counseling and referrals for occupational injuries and illnesses as well as other health-related matters.
• Monitors trends and causes of employee safety events and works with colleagues to identify areas of safety risk.

What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration
• Required Credential(s):
• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed. Must possess all state and local qualifications.
• One or more of the following:
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Instructor specializing in Basic Life Support obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
