Your future role at a glance
• Location: Hoffman Estates, IL
• Facility: Ascension Saint Alexius
• Department/Specialty: Diagnostic Radiology
• Schedule: Evening shift l Full-time | Every Other weekend, call and Holidays
• Sign-on bonus: Up to $15,000.00

How you’ll make an impact in this role
• Position patients and select precise technical parameters to provide physicians with high-quality diagnostic images.
• Enforce strict radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff members from unnecessary exposure.
• Administer contrast media and monitor patient well-being during procedures to ensure optimal safety and comfort.
• Submit high-quality imaging and patient data promptly to support accurate clinical records and seamless care coordination.

What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
• Required Credential(s):
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following:
• Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Radiology Technician obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
