We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiation Therapist Sr to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering radiation treatments to patients with precision and care, ensuring adherence to prescribed protocols and safety standards. This senior role requires a deep understanding of radiation therapy techniques, patient management, and collaboration with oncologists and medical staff to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Administer radiation therapy treatments accurately and safely according to physician prescriptions.
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Monitor patient progress and report any adverse reactions or complications to the medical team.
• Collaborate with oncologists, dosimetrists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment procedures and potential side effects.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives within the radiation therapy department.

Work Experience
Education and Experience
• Graduation from an AMA approved program in Radiation Therapy Technology or Radiologic Technology is required. An Associate of Science degree in Radiation Therapy Technology is preferred.
• Registration as a Radiation Therapy Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) is required.
• Licensure as a Radiation Therapy Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in the state of Maryland is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Three years of clinical practice in Radiation Therapy is required.
