Radiation Therapist (PRN) - Seacoast

Job description

• Administer daily prescribed doses for radiation therapy treatments.
• Adhere to standard work.
• Follow principles of radiation protection for patient, self and others and utilize appropriate health and safety equipment to protect both patient and staff.
• Position patients for treatment with accuracy according to prescription.
• Educate, prepare and reassure patients and their families by answering questions, providing physical assistance, and reinforcing physicians’ advice regarding treatment reactions and post-treatment care.
• Fosters an environment that demonstrates caring, compassion, and respect for all patients, families and visitors.
• Contributes to the training of radiation therapy students.
• Demonstrates continued professional growth through setting goals and participating in educational offerings.

Qualifications:
• Zero to one year of related work experience
• ARRT Certification
• SCRQSA Certification
• BLS Certification
