Rad Tech - Imaging Services
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Under the direct supervision of the Radiologist, Imaging Supervisor and the Director, Ancillary Operations, this individual performs a variety of radiologic procedures and related duties within the limits of standard procedures of the department.
HOURS
Mondays 730a-8p
Thursdays: 7a-7p
Fridays: 730a-830p
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS
• Performs duties and responsibilities in accordance with Broadlawns Medical Center policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates flexibility to adapt to changes in workload, schedule, department function and procedures. Actively participates in creating a positive and harmonious work environment by demonstrating teamwork and cooperative, responsive behaviors.
• Meets/exceeds competency criteria specific to the task/duties of the position.
• Demonstrates behaviors of service excellence consistent with hospital-wide unit-specific standards.
• Completes all annual hospital-wide mandatory training within defined timeframe (i.e. safety, corporate compliance, confidentiality).
• Demonstrates competence in specified computer applications.
• Demonstrates behaviors of service excellence consistent with hospital-wide and department specific standards.
• Demonstrates team work and cooperative, responsive behaviors to internal and external customers alike.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Certification by the A.R.R.T.
• Valid Iowa permit to practice.
• Consistently demonstrates a team approach to care.
• Demonstrates effective communication strategies.
• Familiarity with general computer applications.
