Overview
Responsible for the following systems: domestic water, sewer, storm water, sprinkler, medical gas, roofing, and assigned additional equipment. These systems include, but are not limited to periodic maintenance, repair, and troubleshoot of system components such as; back flows, waste water bubbler flow meters, sampler systems, grease traps, domestic water, and domestic hot water systems and pumps, water heaters, faucets, drains, sinks, hoppers, showers, valves, installation, pipe repair and replacement, brazing, soldering, water coolers, filtration systems, fire pump, engine, and sprinkler systems to include flows and tampers, decontamination tanks, roof inspections, medical air, gas, and vacuum outlet maintenance, fire loop/hydrants, well pump. Must be able to read and interpret construction blueprints used in troubleshooting these systems and equipment. Properly operate pro-press machine, sewer augers, and general plumbing hand tools, sawzall, chop saw, pipe freezing machine, grinders, oxygen generator, personnel lift. Effectively log daily production/work performed in a work order system tracking time, equipment repairs, and parts through the use of computer or device such as an I-Pad. Most importantly the Maintenance Plumber will be a compassionate and effective communicator as they will interact with staff and patients during their stay.
