PIH Health is seeking a skilled and motivated Plastic Surgery/ Aesthetic Medicine Physician Assistant to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity combining Aesthetic Plastic Surgery clinic responsibilities with First Assist responsibilities in the hospital , allowing the provider to work across both outpatient and surgical settings.
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine, excellent clinical and communication skills, and the ability to provide exceptional patient care in both an aesthetic clinic and hospital environment.

The Opportunity
This position offers an exciting opportunity for a provider who enjoys both aesthetic patient care and surgical First Assist responsibilities . As PIH Health continues to prioritize the growth of Retail Health, this provider will play an important role in supporting the expansion of our Plastic Surgery services
Key Responsibilities:
Plastic Surgery Clinic
• Provide comprehensive patient care in an aesthetic plastic surgery setting.
• Conduct patient consultations, evaluations, and follow-up visits.
• Assist with treatment planning and patient education.
• Support aesthetic procedures and services as appropriate to scope of practice and experience.
• Develop strong, trusting relationships with patients while providing an exceptional patient experience.
• Collaborate closely with the Plastic Surgeon and clinical team to ensure continuity of care.

Hospital – Surgical First Assist
• Serve as a surgical First Assist during Plastic Surgery procedures.
• Assist the surgeon throughout operative procedures in accordance with training and scope of practice.
• Support preoperative and postoperative patient care.
• Assist with wound care, postoperative assessments, and patient education.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia, and other members of the surgical team.

Required Skills and Experience
• Current California Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license.
• 3-5 years of experience in Plastic Surgery
• Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program.
• Previous Plastic Surgery experience preferred.
• Surgical First Assist experience preferred.
• Experience in an aesthetic or cosmetic practice is highly desirable.
• Strong clinical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in both a clinic and hospital setting.
• English proficiency required.
• Spanish bilingual skills preferred, but not required.

Compensation Range:150K-175K Annually
