Job Overview
Practice Description:
Fairview Health Services is seeking a Pediatric Physician to join our primary care practice at M Health Fairview Clinic Children’s Clinic – University . Located adjacent to the University of Minnesota, our busy pediatric practice has an excellent working relationship with pediatric subspecialists at Masonic Children's Hospital.
Practice Details:
• Established pediatric practice with more than 16 pediatric-only primary care physicians and advanced practice providers
• Strong clinical support including RNs, Team Coordinators, and Lactation Consultants
• Patient volume: Approximately 10–20 patient encounters per shift
• FTE: 1.0 FTE preferred; other FTE options may be considered
• Patient contact hours: Full-time providers currently have 34 patient contact hours per week
• Call: Approximately 2–3 times per month; phone-only call with nurses answering first through Masonic Nursery and Fairview Nurse Advisors
• Newborn rounding: Approximately 5 weeks per year at University of Minnesota Medical Center
• Teaching opportunities: Clinic serves as a continuity clinic for University of Minnesota pediatric residents, with opportunities to teach and precept
• EMR: Fully integrated EPIC electronic medical record
• Clinical documentation support: Employer-paid Nabla AI clinical documentation assistance to help reduce administrative burden and streamline charting

Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Pediatric residency training program.
• BC/BE with the ABMS or AOA.
• Licensed or ability to obtain licensure through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
• Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
• Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges if applicable.

Compensation Disclaimer
The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills,knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Positions withthe same min/max are flat rate jobs based on 40 hours/week. Compensation plans based on production can allow for higher pay than the range posted.
