Physician Assistant - General Surgery / Trauma

Job description

General Surgery/Trauma PA:
Physician Assistant may apply
Minimum of 40 hours per week
Clinic, OR & Inpatient responsibility
Rotate onsite coverage with other Physician Assistants in the program to provide 24/7 coverage for trauma and emergency general surgery
Respond to all trauma activations as the first responding provider to begin work-up and evaluation
Conduct consults for general surgery and coordinate with on-call physician
Complete admissions
Round for the service and coordinate care with on-call physician
Provide outpatient services on a rotation basis
Available to perform 1st assist duties for OR cases
On call rotation is 1:4
