Physical Therapist

Job description

• This position has flexibility between 36 and potentially 40 hours per week due to another therapist looking to reduce hours by 4/week.
• DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
• Evaluates, directs, plans, and provides treatments for patients with a wide variety of disabilities to help them achieve a maximum level of functional independence. Documents patient care and results of treatment appropriately in the medical record to comply with policies and procedures of the department and regulatory agencies.
• POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)
• Experience:
• Two years experience preferred. Entry-level acceptable.
• Education and Training:
• Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy with a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in area of major.
• Ability to comprehend and write the English language.
• License, Certification & Registration:
• MAPT - Current MA license to practice physical therapy
• CPR required
• Other Requirements:
• Must possess sight/hearing senses to use prostheses that will enable these senses to function adequately so the requirements of the position can be fully met.
