Job Summary
Performs phlebotomy related tasks in a physician office setting.
Qualifications:
Education:
• Required
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

Experience:
• Required
• Knowledge of Medical Laboratory practices and procedures
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology
• Knowledge of Lab/reference manuals, formularies, ICD-9 book, and reference lab procedures

Certification/Licensure:
Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Must obtain within ninety (90) days of start date

Preferred
• ASCP Board of Registry or equivalent
