Make a DifferenceUnder the supervision of a Laboratory Supervisor, the Phlebotomist and in accordance with all applicable guidelines, conforms to all organizational and regulatory rules, performs the duties of the assigned laboratory section related to the diagnosis and treatment of medical disorders, is responsible to perform; phlebotomy, specimen collection, provide laboratory courier service, the countywide program, processing samples for referral or storage, deliver specimens to the designated laboratory section, set up cultures in microbiology when needed, answer and direct incoming communications, and assist with the clerical duties when required.
