Job Summary
The Pharmacy Technician Sr assist and support pharmacists in various aspects of the medication use process in a patient focused manner supporting and promoting medication safety. The Pharmacy Technician Sr routinely performs more specialized roles than Pharmacy Technician III's and may assist with administrative tasks.
Required Qualifications
• Require active registration as a pharmacy technician or pharmacy intern in the State of Florida.
• Require the ability to obtain a level 2 AHCA clearance.
• Require Certified Pharmacy Technician credential from Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
• Require three (3) years of experience in a Pharmacy Technician role within SMHCS or comparable organization.

Preferred Qualifications
• Prefer completion of PTCB certificate program or advanced certification in area of specialization.
