Overview
Responsibilities
Provides leadership to a healthcare team to deliver comprehensive, quality service. Ensures compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as accrediting organizations.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
One of the following:
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)

Working knowledge of drug therapy and disease state management
2 of the most recent 4 years’ experience performing pharmacist duties in a hospital setting
Licensure, Registration, Certification:
Licensure in good standing by the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy or eligibility for licensure*
Parenteral licensure/eligibility
*Permanent licenses will be required within six months of placement into position
Desired Qualifications:
ASHP residency or fellowship
A working knowledge of distribution and control systems
Citizenship in healthcare including active participation in professional organizations, attitudes, and manners
Desired Licensure, Registration, Certification:
Preceptorship
